Dreamy. Intimate. A French Country inspired Micro-Wedding styled shoot at Murphy Lane.
Sheltering-at-home has given many of us time to think and appreciate the beautiful world around us. We know that there will be better times ahead after the coronavirus pandemic. Over the past 5 weeks or so, Spring has arrived on the farm with all of its majesty. Crimson-clover fields, rose bushes filled with hundreds of tiny blooms, crape myrtles and pecan trees leafing out in their finest greenery, and countless bluebirds chirping and flitting around the property. We awake each morning to the most beautiful sunrises which bring hope for a new day ahead. The amazing sunsets fill the western sky with a fiery show of pink, red, orange and yellow hues of color.
With time on our hands to think about how the wedding world will look in the future, we decided to plan a dreamy, intimate Micro-Wedding styled shoot with a little French Country flair. Micro-weddings are intimate affairs, typically with no more than 50 guests. They still feature time-honored wedding traditions, but on a much smaller scale. We believe this is going to become a new wedding trend for future brides and grooms. Sharing your BEST DAY EVER with an intimate group of your beloved family and friends…perfect combination for a unique micro-wedding!
After creating a beautiful inspiration board, we enlisted the expertise of some of the top wedding professionals in the industry to join our Dream Team to bring the vision to life for our French Country inspired styled shoot. And after a little down time from wedding season, everybody was more than ready to jump in and use their creativity for this shoot! We used natural, earthy hues throughout the design to keep the overall appeal charming and graceful, yet elegant. We incorporated many gorgeous table elements such as vintage china, gold flatware, and green and clear glass stemware with linen napkins and blush taper candlesticks on our wooden farm table with a romantic chandelier hanging from a tree overhead. Farm to table fresh produce adorned the grazing table…artichokes, pickled beets, baby carrots, sweet pea hummus, farm fresh eggs, fresh locally grown strawberries, Artisan breads and cheeses. A very simple, yet elegantly designed luscious butter pecan cake with maple flavored butter cream icing placed on a white china cake stand. Luscious green garlands lined the middle of the farm table, potted strawberry and basil plants, greenery foraged from the farm used to create the ceremony site decor, a stunning organically-infused Bridal bouquet and a manly, very natural Groom’s boutonniere …all part of the beautiful botanical elements in the wedding florals. A simple, yet absolutely perfect ceremony site,,,vintage ladder back wooden chairs arranged in a spiral configuration for the guests to observe a ceremony of love in the middle of the crimson-clover field. A gorgeous bride in a dreamy and very romantic wedding dress and a handsome groom dressed in a navy-blue tailored suit with a very casual feel. The beauty of the surrounding landscape at Murphy Lane made the perfect setting for our happy little inspiration!
If you are interested in planning a dreamy and very intimate wedding for you and your groom and 50 or less of your closest family and friends, then we have a very special micro-wedding package designed just for you!
